The Amesbury Family: Generation 1, Chapter 5 continued

This chapter is about why absent-minded is a bad family trait.

It was a normal day in Sunset Valley. Connor and Barbie were getting ready for work and the kids were getting ready to go to school. Connor thought he would cook some waffles before work. Well, unfortunately, he left for work before the waffles were quite cooked through and the oven caught fire while only Darryl and Connor were home.

The children were terrified but one had the presence of mind to call for a firefighter.
Connor must have remembered that he left something on because he came bounding home.
At least he's not thinking about work.
The firefighter finally showed up to put out the blaze.
Apparently fire makes you hungry.
Connor cleaned up the mess and went back to work.
In other news, there is some nausea from unknown causes.
